The days of a crib are over!
On Monday, I realized I could climb (or fall) out of my crib. Mom and Dad seemed really surprised, but not as surprised as I was! So for a few days, I slept with my mattress on the floor. But that didn't really work out so well. No one got a lot of sleep. Then Dad put together my NEW BED. Somehow it looks a lot like my old crib, but much cooler. Did I mention that I can climb in and out myself? And so far at least, everyone is pleased with how it's working out.

Harmonicas + Toddlers = Hilarious Fun
Thanks, Fletcher, for the fabulous harmonicas! Hey, we're actually pretty good.
I'm not sure why Dad said that all the Rodeo parents are now millionaires though.

Happy Thanksgiving
Yesterday was a great day. Mom and Dad decided not to go to work, I'm not sure why, and hang out with me all day. It was a beautiful, unseasonably warm day, and I had a new bike to try out. I think the Thanksgiving birthday bunny came or something. So, we went down to Butler Park - nothing but grass, walkways, and a fountain.

Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa, this is cool!

Happy Halloween - scarecrow style
From a scarecrow's point of view, it was a very successful Halloween weekend.
Uh oh, I think Fletcher may have landed on a witch.
Trick or Treat!!!

Great photo with Woode Wood!
Woode sent along this picture this morning - it's from his photo shoot for Rare Magazine. The next issue will feature an article on him, and we happened to drop by on a Saturday morning when the photo shoot was happening! I don't think that means we'll appear in the magazine, but you never know...

Halloween dry run
This weekend at the toddler rodeo, my buddies and I had a dry run of our Halloween costumes. Can you guess our theme?

It's finally Fall!
Well, it's fall in Austin, and you know what that means. Nice weather and... new dishwashers! Yes, mom and dad finally got a new dishwasher and dad installed it himself. You find that hard to believe? No way, my dad is super handy. Check out this cool house he made me out of the dishwasher box.
Finally, morning fun outside in my pajamas...

Funniest birthday party moments... according to mom
Quinn tries on his "birthday suit" in preparation for the big party.
What in the world are Dallas and Mike talking about? No one knows.Turn your head and cough?

Now those are some life skills!
The fab four... not sure what to make of all these "2"s,
but amazingly, all sitting together.

2 year stats

Dad took me to the doctor's on my birthday. I thought the nice doctor was going to give me a present, but instead I got a shot, a bright light in the eye, and a poke in the ear. Boo for doctors!
It's amazing how my stats are eerily familiar...
- Height: 36" (90th)
- Weight: 32 lbs, 9 oz (90th)
- Head: 51cm (95th)
Although I've gained on height - guess those Kart genes are kicking in. Thanks, Grandpa!

New guitar
Thanks Papa for the really awesome Quinn-sized guitar! I'd like to dedicate my first song to you...
Ukulele, guitar, it's all the same to a 2 year old.

School update
I've had about 2 weeks now of being at school full time. The days are pretty long, and I come home totally wiped out. And filthy. I go through my 2 backup outfits daily. And my extra shoes (given all the mud lately!)
Today I came home in shorts and my galoshes. Yesterday, I came home covered in glitter and to mom's surprise, a tattoo.
No, your computer screen is not dirty, that is glitter stuck to my face. During our after school project, I thought it would be fun to dump glitter on my head. It was. That place is all glitter and butterflies and unicorns over there.
I really like school! The only big adjustment is catching up on sleep, since now I only nap an hour or so (compared to my typical 2.5-3 hours before). So tonight for the first time, I was in bed asleep by 7:30!

Do not let your child watch this train video
The other day, I wanted mom to show me the train video of me and Woode and the Zilker Zephyr on her phone. Well, for some reason her phone was not around, and so she searched on you tube for a train video, and found the MOST AWESOME TRAIN VIDEO OF ALL TIME. Here it is:
Now, I must watch it 50 times per day. At first, I cried when mom and dad said no more, but now I think I got them by looking really cute and saying "just one more time please." I'm not sure what she means, but mom says "parents be warned!"
