Merry Christmas!!!

Wow. Santa found our house, used his magic to get in without a chimney, and he even ate the cookies I left for him (and Rudolph ate the carrots!) I opened all my presents, which took all morning, since I had to play with each item after I opened it.


Then we went on a bike ride at the park. Brrrrr, it was cold, but that's what I wanted to do, so we bundled up.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

This weekend, we got our tree and decorated the house for Christmas. I had the two most important jobs:

1. hanging ornaments
2. pushing the button to turn everything ON

All the requisite pre-Christmas activities were represented...

Hanging the first ornament on the tree...

...a popsicle-stick Christmas tree I made in school.

Carrying poinsettias to the counter by myself.

Trying on silly hats with Dad.

And hanging mini-ornaments on my fingers!

Of course, it's not officially Christmas until the singing Christmas cat comes out of the box...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, Thanksgiving is a great day. First, we went to our favorite city park and rode our bikes...



...hm, that guy looks like Daddy in the background. Then Mom and I jumped on the trampoline. It was a beautiful day. Then Daddy and I watched football. And finally, we had a big dinner and dessert, after which I ran around the house, jumped on the couch, jumped on the bed, ran around in circles, then collapsed out cold.

Pumpkin guts

Mom helped me carve pumpkins yesterday. She got to use the knife, and I got to clean out the guts. Boy it was slimy, and we got it all over ourselves. That's why there are no pictures of that part because mom wouldn't touch the camera until we got cleaned up.

Then I helped mom make pumpkin muffins...somehow the canned pumpkin guts we used were not as stringy.

3rd Birthday Highlights

90th Percentile

Continuing in the Kart family tradition, I weighed in at 38 pounds today at my 3-year checkup, and measured 39.5 inches tall...90th percentile all around.
