Belly button

Today I am 2 weeks old! The big news in the last couple of days is that my umbilical cord fell off so now I have a regular belly button just like mommy and daddy.

I am so much more alert than when I was first born. I like to look out the window and notice the light coming in. Today daddy sat outside with me in the back yard under the pecan tree. I can't wait to run around with him in the yard.

Good morning

This morning Mom and I went to wake up Grandma and they took this video of me. Press the play button on the bottom left above to see me yawning. Last night I was up a lot so Mom and I are kind of tired today...maybe we will nap!

My first outing

Yesterday I took my first walk in the stroller to Austin Java with Mom and Grandma (wearing my new favorite hat from Aunties Karen and Lacy). It was very nice outside...I got a little sun and mommy got to stretch her legs a bit.

So many firsts

These last few days I've seen so many firsts in my life. Mom and Grandma gave me my first sponge bath...
























Daddy fed me my first bottle and I really liked it. He is so good with me!

It's funny, today is the day I was supposed to arrive, but I'm so glad I came early. Look at all the cool stuff I've done already!

My first week

My first week involved coming home from the hospital and learning to nurse. Mom and I are still figuring out the eating and sleeping schedule but so far I really like it here. Also, Grandma Georgie arrived early--since I arrived early--and will be here for 2 whole weeks!
